The 2026 King Salmon season is almost here, and I couldn't be more excited!
I just returned from another incredible season on the Nushagak River in Alaska, where the fishing was outstanding and the rods stayed bent. Now it's time to switch gears and get everything dialed in for what is shaping up to be a fantastic 2026 California and Oregon King Salmon season. I'll be on the water for opening day in the Sacramento Valley, chasing the first King Salmon of the season on the legendary Sacramento River. After opening week, I'll be heading north to Gold Beach, Oregon, where I'll spend the next month and a half targeting powerful Chinook Salmon at the mouth of the Rogue River. The Rogue consistently produces hard-fighting kings and is one of my favorite places to fish each summer. Once the Oregon season wraps up, I'll return home to Northern California to spend the fall targeting King Salmon on both the Sacramento River and the Feather River. Fall is one of my favorite times of year, with fresh fish moving into the system and excellent opportunities for anglers of all experience levels. Whether you're an experienced salmon fisherman or looking to catch your very first Chinook Salmon, I'd love to have you join me on the water. I provide quality equipment, years of local knowledge, and work hard to make every trip enjoyable and memorable. Prime dates are still available, but they won't last long. If you've been thinking about booking a Sacramento River Salmon fishing trip, a Feather River King Salmon adventure, or a Gold Beach Rogue River Chinook charter, now is the time to reserve your spot. I look forward to fishing with both returning clients and first-time anglers during what promises to be an outstanding 2026 King Salmon season! Book your trip today and let's make some memories on the water!
