Now it's time to switch gears and get everything dialed in for what is shaping up to be a fantastic <strong>2026 California and Oregon King Salmon season</strong>.<br /><span></span>I'll be on the water for <strong>opening day in the Sacramento Valley</strong>, chasing the first King Salmon of the season on the legendary <strong>Sacramento River</strong>. After opening week, I'll be heading north to <strong>Gold Beach, Oregon</strong>, where I'll spend the next month and a half targeting powerful Chinook Salmon at the mouth of the <strong>Rogue River</strong>. The Rogue consistently produces hard-fighting kings and is one of my favorite places to fish each summer.<br /><span></span>Once the Oregon season wraps up, I'll return home to Northern California to spend the fall targeting King Salmon on both the <strong>Sacramento River</strong> and the <strong>Feather River</strong>. Fall is one of my favorite times of year, with fresh fish moving into the system and excellent opportunities for anglers of all experience levels.<br /><span></span>Whether you're an experienced salmon fisherman or looking to catch your very first Chinook Salmon, I'd love to have you join me on the water.
